It is time to take a break from the heavy weights of the Android market and focus on other products for a change. Ematic’s latest 7 inch tablet for example looks pretty good for an Ematic device actually, their most powerful yet. Powered by a 1.5 GHz processor, the EGQ307 uses Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, but the really interesting thing is the price. Like most Ematic devices, EGQ307 is pretty affordable, $99 to more precise.
The good people at Ematic are saying that EGQ307 is not only the most powerful device they have made, but one that hosts an impressive list of technical specifications as well. Speaking of specifications, this tablet features just 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage, mini-HDMI support, and a microSD card slot. Maybe the 1 GB of RAM isn’t necessarily state of the art nowadays, but because of its price and its microSD card slot, it really doesn’t matter that much.
Ematic’s EGQ307 tablet also features a WiFi 802.11 b/g/n capability and a 0.3 megapixel camera in the front. The tablet’s display will run on a 1024 x 600 resolution with 169 ppi, which is good enough to get the job done. Despite not having the most impressive hardware specs, EGQ307 will feature Google Play Services support, including access to Google Play Store. All things considered, this is one of those devices aimed at people with a smaller budget, and should be treated as such.
